The thinking behind Nava
Technology.
With room for people.
Nava is an independent technology project. Our first product is Nava OS. Our starting point is simple: the computer should help you find your own way.
Two forms. One point of view.
Clarity is a design choice.
So is knowing
what to leave out.
Simple. Fluid. Yours.
Simple means choosing a clear next step. Fluid means keeping the connection between an action and its result. Yours means leaving space for how you want to work.
These are principles for making decisions, not claims that the work is finished. They guide the desktop, the visual language and the way Nava moves.
A considered process
Make it real.
Then make it better.
We distinguish working software from experiments. Clearly labelled concepts show the visual direction; development notes explain what is already implemented and what remains in progress.
Linux and open-source libraries provide a foundation. Nava’s identity comes from the choices made above it: the system components, the desktop and the experience that connects them.
